Chris Dimino is pretty sure his first words were "hot glue gun" and "foam core". After graduating from the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, he spent his early career as a graphic designer, animator and art director for Nickelodeon, HBO and The Late Show with David Letterman. Then he went full time as an artist and maker.
Today Chris creates 3D paper art and frame-by-frame animation full of joy and wonder, with that special feeling of something made by human hands. He takes every piece from hand sketch to vector mockup, then laser cuts, sculpts, lights and photographs it, filming the process as he goes. Clients get a polished hero shot, bonus angles and behind-the-scenes content that shows the work is real, not AI.
Play is at the heart of everything Chris makes. He grew up around his dad's basement-sized model railroad, which sparked a lifelong love of miniatures and fine detail. His work has been exhibited at Grand Central Station in New York and Union Station in Washington DC. He's been featured on Good Morning America, CNBC's Squawk Box, NPR and the How I Built This podcast.
Ideal for advertising, packaging, film, animation, editorial and licensing.
Left-handed, powered by chocolate, and happiest when he's making something.
